BCR COMPOUND SBR

BCR Compound SBR is a styrene butadiene copolymer latex which has been specifically designed for use with cement compositions. It can be used to form water and vapour resistant bonding coats, prior to application of renders, plasters, or screeds, Due to its exceptional adhesive properties, it can be used to bond slip bricks, tiles, coping stones, kerb stones, etc., to a variety of substrates, including asphalt and glass. When incorporated into cement mortar mixer, it forms polymer modified systems which exhibit excellent adhesion; improved tensile, flexural and compressive strengths; excellent resistance to water and vapour; improved chemical resistance, and can be laid from a feather edge upwards.

BCR Compound SBR modified mixers are non-toxic and can be used with potable water.

Typical Uses

BCR Compound SBR modified mixers can be used for: repairing floors, beams, precast slabs, spalled concrete; patching floor, chemical resistant floors and linings; bedding tiles; fixing slip bricks; water proofing above and below grade; abrasion resistant flooring; lining effluent tanks and ducts.
